[edit] Physical Description
Brule is an old, dead man. His skin is flaking and his shoulders are hunched. He moves with deliberate care, often leaning on his staff for stability. He is generally seen wearing well-tailored, fine robes.
[edit] Personality
Brule was the brother and chief magical advisor to King Terenas Menethil and acts like it still matters. He is an authoritarian, self-righteous man who is difficult to befriend or even have a pleasant conversation with. Curmudgeonly would describe him well.
Akindi is one of the few in the tribe who are close to him and would call him a friend, even though he might not agree with her. In his absence she would speak on his behalf, representing the interests of the other Forsaken in the tribe to the Elder's council.
Pusrot and Brule have a long history of antagonising each other at every opportunity. Reviling someone he considers a "mercenary" and "peasant," Brule has long chastised Pusrot for taking blood money from the tribe in return for his services. They have nearly come to blows on several occasions.
[edit] History
The horrific death of Euphydius Menethil and his subsequent rising from the grave into the Banshee Queen's service as Brule Flamewright is best described in the tale Da Mishun.
Since joining the Broken Horn Warband Brule has aided them in their efforts to combat the Scourge threat and collaborate with other groups to find a cure. Following a vision by the tribe's Warchanter Kurga, Brule forced himself through the Dark Portal - a year before it was opened from within - to discover the truth about the massing demonic forces. He returned to the tribe to warn them of the impending war and to rally the defenses of the warband. Some doubted his words but they were proven true when the Dark Portal opened a short time later.
Brule was oddly affected by his stay in the Twisting Nether and has become even more enigmatic than before. He often takes a superior attitude when anyone questions his words.
