Physical Description[]
Larger than even most tauren, Gikar is in obvious good health. His fur is kept clean and his clothing and sparse gear is well cared for. His body and horns are adorned with many red runes which emit a silver glow when empowered.
Personality[]
Gikar is composed, honorable, and completely devoted to his perception of nature and the tales of his people. Generally he is more concerned with following the "Laws of the Wild" rather than the "Laws of Man."
History[]
During his youth, Gikar strode the plains as a Runemaster, protecting his tribe from constant centaur attacks. At some point however, he set his "fists" aside and began to study as a Lorekeeper; learning the stories and fables of the Tauren in their ancient oral tradition. Though the runes still adorn his body, he has chosen to prefer peace over war.
During the Third War he did return to the battlefields however, most notably as one of the thousands of warriors who fought at the Battle of Mount Hyjal. Following that war's conclusion he has returned to the life of a Lorekeeper. He has gone so far as to set up a temporary residence on Spirit Rise where he passes the fables and parables of the Tauren on to any willing to listen.
